Stuart Sealey
As HSE Director, Stuart manages, and has overall responsibility for Certas Energy’s health, safety and environment function. He also manages the company’s fixed assets including the terminals located in Aberdeen and Inverness.

He joined the business in January 2005, after being interviewed by the Managing Director at the time, Sam Chambers, in Stansted Airport!

Prior to working for Certas Energy, Stuart worked as Logistics Director with Nynas Bitumen, and before that held responsibility for chlorine production and intermediate derivatives with Associated Octel (now known as Innospec).
Qualified in Chemical Engineering from Nottingham University, Stuart is also a Charted Chemical Engineer and European Engineer, and has worked in Research and Technology for British Gas.

Stuart relishes working with the positive and willing people in this growing business, and its diverse challenges.

He feels he makes a very real contribution to the success and long term development of the company, with lots more to do.

In his spare time, Stuart studies naval history, particularly its strong parallels with business management, enjoys motorsport and rock music.

He also enjoys quality time with his wife and son, and travelling.
