We currently have a vacancy for a Project Manager in our I.T department. This is a full time, permanent position and we are offering a competitive salary for this position.
The desired location for this post is Warrington, however we are open to applications close to any of our main offices, including Larbert, Cheltenham, and Kettering.
As our project manager you will manage medium and large sized IT projects from start to end, to ensure benefits from projects are crystallised and the impact on people and processes and technology is well communicated to ensure the best chance of lasting change.
You will Schedule and conduct project meetings, communicate assignments and expectations to project team members and track completion of project deliverables to ensure quality and integrity of all project-related products while working in tandem with the IT Director and other IT departmental managers to perform project management duties to support the completion of projects.
There is a key priority on customer focus within this position as you will liaise with internal customers to design functional enhancements and identify gaps and Ensure projects are implemented and formally handed-over to the business and IT support organisation so that new systems and processes become fully embedded as – ‘business as usual’.
It is desired for you to have experience developing Working knowledge of an established Project Management methodology (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, PMI) and working knowledge of lean six Sigma.
Excellent Microsoft office skills, including us of Project, Excel and Powerpoint is essential and excellent numerical and analytical skills are desired, to critically evaluate the information gathered and prioritise work according to business needs.
