We currently have a vacancy for a Tax Accountant to join our team at our Larbert office.
This role will offer an extremely competitive salary, working 37.5 hours Monday – Friday, on a Permanent Basis.
As a Tax Accountant you will ensure accurate recording, reporting and full compliance with all tax regulations within the Certas group and provide advice and guidance to the business across all heads of tax. You will also ensure optimal tax efficient processes and procedures to highlight any potential tax saving opportunities.
You will be key point of contact for HMRC, Group Tax and Internal / External auditors for all tax related matters, providing advice on tax implications of potential acquisitions or new businesses opportunities and providing on time, accurate submission of monthly returns to HMRC.
As the Tax Accountant you will manage the review of tax for all future acquisitions while coordinating and managing any on-going investigations, tracking all issues on the tax register and keeping all relevant parties updated
You should have the below Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Accountant
- Experience working in a similar role
- Strong technical knowledge of HMRC guidelines and tax legislation
- Excellent Excel skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Communication skills
- Ability to work on own and as part of a team
