We currently have a vacancy for a Training Operations Manager within Certas Energy on a full time and permanent basis.
This position will involve travel around the UK with primary office locations of the role being in Warrington, Larbert and London and therefore we are open to receiving applications from anywhere in the UK.
As a Training Operations Manager you will be expected to manage, lead and develop the transport training team in implementing the transport training plans at the same time as unlocking potential and allowing individuals to grow within the business. You should have the ability to influence change within Training and to work with other areas of the business to implement this.
You will be responsible for managing the Training team within its budget, as well as over-seeing the delivery and development of relevant training programmes with reference to the agreed Business Plan. This will be done by assessing the training needs of the transport operation through skill gap assessments and job analysis and regular consultations with operational management. This would then form part of the driver training matrix.
You will ensure to develop, monitor and report on Transport Training KPIs to key stakeholders in a timely and proactive manner, while being the main point of contact for all external accreditation bodies/exam boards and attending & contributing to management meetings and external meetings as required.
It is beneficial a working knowledge of QMS and Training Systems and practices, having and experienced use of Microsoft suite of programs, with experience of working in the Dangerous goods training sector also being desirable.
