Description

We are currently recruiting for a class 2 driver to join our team in Great Yarmouth.The role will involve delivering lubricants & compressed gas to customer sites, always delivering in a professional and safe manner whilst maintaining an excellent level of customer service. This will cover deliveries within England & Wales, and will include some evening & weekend working. Working as part of the depot operations team, the role will also involve yard duties on a rotation cycle.

Responsibilities:

  • To deliver all grades of product in line with current Health, Safety and Environmental Regulations
  • To carry out safe deliveries of bulk lubricants to commercial, agricultural, automotive, industrial & marine customer locations
  • To deliver Compressed Gas to commercial, industrial & marine customer locations
  • To adhere to all current road legislation
  • To work extended hours, long days and weekends when required
  • To carry out regular overnight stays when making long distance deliveries
  • To work within current tachograph legislation and operate to those rules in regard to driving, duty and breaks in the working environment
  • To understand operating requirements with regard to weight distribution in a vehicles carrying bulk liquids
  • To ensure that company procedures are followed in regards to daily safety checks and defect reporting
  • To understand and practice defensive driving at all times
  • To present a professional image of the company at all times
  • To understand the principles of risk assessment and the ability to apply those principles
  • Order picking
  • Load & unload delivery / collection vehicles
  • To understand and complete company documentation in the manner required
  • To ensure day records are completed correctly and professionally

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Driver CPC qualification
  • Class 2 ADR
  • Understand Work Time Directive legislation
  • To be competent and hold a full in date LGV Driver category C license
  • Experience in delivering bulk lubricants is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years LGV driving experience
  • Counterbalance Fork Truck licence is preferrable
  • Banksman trained is desirable

The successful candidate will be offered the position on Certas Energy terms and conditions of employment.
