Job Purpose

The successful candidate will be required to work within a team that aims to satisfy the needs and requirements of our customers over the phone, dealing with existing customers and generating new business to increase sales.

The ideal candidate will have some previous sales or customer service experience, although full training will be given to the right person who demonstrates the right behaviours which align with the Certas Energy values. The role includes development opportunities offering great career prospect to someone who is looking to make a long-term commitment to a forward thinking and successful company.

Key Responsibilities

• To organise and manage own diary and workload
• Generation of leads and planning of daily activity
• Making calls to businesses with a fuel dependency to establish their needs and promote a Certas fuel card solution
• Management of existing customer accounts and meeting customer needs
• To proactively prospect new customers in accordance with line management guidelines in order to maximise fuel card business in the department
• To maintain and improve the customer experience through excellent customer service
• To understand the products and services available to the Customer in order to cross sell and also identify additional business to be referred to other departments within the business. 

Experience and Knowledge

• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written;
